This week was good. Nothing really happened.  Paul and I were working and did well with our goals. This Sunday I led the discussion over the Christensen zoom and the talk I chose was Spiritually Defining Memories by Elder Anderson.   This invitation to lead the discussion came at a great time because this week I was pondering on how to make my scripture study more fulfilling. I often daydream while I am reading and I felt I wasn't getting what I needed from my study. I thought to study by going through the topical guide and reading the scriptures referenced but that felt like I spent most of my time flipping pages. I then thought I should pretend I'm going to teach a lesson every Sunday so I can feel more purpose in my study. Then Friday came and my dad asked me to lead the discussion and I was grateful for the opportunity to share with you what I've studied. I picked the topic of peace and when I searched for peace on the gospel app this talk from Elder Anderson came up.

This week was good.  My dinners all turned out well and I had a positive end of year interview with my boss.  I did the floral arrangements for the office this week. Paul is still enjoying his rotation. He got his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this week and didn't have any negative side effects, which is very exciting. So now he is considered fully vaccinated!  I went with him on Saturday so he could do some stuff in lab in the morning then we went for a walk at a park nearby and enjoyed the warm weather. We had the missionaries over for dinner and they invited us to share a Book of Mormon. We hope everyone is doing well. Congratulations to Adam and Sonora for getting married yesterday! Love you all!

This week was good.  I just worked and Paul was in lab.  I sewed some new masks this weekend and Wendy mailed back my summer quilt after quilting it.  It is now ready for me to bind it! We hope everyone who has been affected by COVID are feeling better this week.  Love you!

This week was really productive for us.  Paul was in his new lab all week and learned a lot.  He is excited to do research in a topic that is more interesting to him. I also worked all week.  We have been working on being more productive in the evenings and I have a goal to practice music, sew, read, and study the scriptures.  I included a picture of some of my sewing from this week. The crazy thing that happened this week was that we experienced snow in Dallas! I was told that the last time it snowed was January of 2015. We hope everyone that has COVID to feel better soon. Love you all!

Paul started his new rotation this week. He really likes it so far.   We went to Outback for New Year’s Eve. Paul got the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on the last day of 2020! That was very exciting.  Paul went to lab for a couple hours on the first and I got to zoom with Wendy and Sanora while Sanora was trying on wedding dresses. She found one at the first store that she really liked. It’s very beautiful and we’re excited for them!  I got most of the Christmas stuff put away on Friday then Saturday I finished and cleaned the apartment and put up some Valentine’s Day decor while Paul was in lab.  Happy birthday to Mom yesterday! We hope everyone has a good week.  Love Ya

This week was good. It was a short week at work. Monday we had a holiday lunch and ugly sweater party.  Wednesday I got my nails done courtesy of a generous gift from mom since I wasn’t there with them to go with all the girls. It was fun to get some festive nails.  Thursday we spent the day cooking and watching movies. We opened our pajamas and watched it’s a wonderful life. Best Christmas movie of all time.  Christmas we zoomed with the Roberts and James called over Facebook messenger soon after so we spent the morning talking to family. Then we ordered pizza and watched NBA games. It was a relaxed Christmas and fun but we did miss everyone.  We cleaned up most of our Christmas stuff over the weekend and played some games through zoom on Sunday with the Roberts.   We hope everyone had a good holiday. Love you!

This week was good.  Nothing really happened.  Paul finished his classes and rotations and I worked.  My work decided to have our Christmas party as an ugly sweater party so I called Paul to tell him and he had bought me this sweater as a surprise for Christmas but said I could open it early to wear to the party     it matches my childhood stuffed animal 🧸  We had a Christmas musical evening with the Roberts on Sunday.  I got to play silent night on the piano.  It was fun to see everyone.  Congratulations to Adam and Sanora on their engagement!
