Our new friends in the ward that we hung out with on Sunday, the Walker's, told us about this sushi place that has great deals so Tuesday we took the opportunity to get some yummy and affordable sushi. Paul was a good sport. He didn't like the sushi but he got their teriyaki chicken and it was super good.
Friday Paul started learning about molecular cloning and he is really interested in it. He's been doing the same sort of stuff and finally gets to learn this new technique.Saturday Paul didn't have to go into lab at all so we went to Buc-ee's for the day and had a great time. I came home to water my plants and noticed that my hibiscus has three flower buds! The patio is pretty shaded but I hope it's getting enough sun for these buds to fully bloom.
Sunday was Mother's Day. I got to play the piano for the primary number and it went surprisingly well since I never had the opportunity to practice with the kids. They sang so loud too! It was really cute. Then, when it was all done, this little girl turned around and waved to me! It melted my heart. I am super excited for this calling. We had a pretty chill day other than that and enjoyed zooming with both families that evening.
