Monday started off good trying out the apple pie overnight oats that I made the night before. Paul liked the pumpkin overnight oats from last week better but I think I like the apple pie ones better. I made pork chops for dinner, cleaned up dinner while I waited for Paul to get home. We did our daily goals and went to bed.
Tuesday was very productive. I went to the tax office and renewed our car registrations before heading into work. I got out of work early and ran errands before coming home and making chicken enchiladas for dinner. Paul had a long day and fell asleep pretty quickly after eating dinner. I finished my goals for the day before heading to bed too.
Happy birthday to Eliza on Wednesday!
Thursday Paul got to leave lab early for the first time in forever! I asked my boss if I could leave early too and he said yes. Paul got home about 5 minutes before me. We got a package from Wendy with a baby quilt, some books, and a cute apron. We had our date night early and went to dinner and went for a drive.
Friday was a normal day. I went to work and got paid and got to leave pretty early. With my paycheck, my boss approved the raise I asked for in August! So that was really awesome. He said he had to wait to approve it for the new quarter. I thought I wasn't going to get it but I did! It was very exciting. I came home and made some pumpkin muffins to have for breakfast for conference. Paul and I said that we were going to do laundry and grocery shopping Friday night so we could relax on Saturday but neither of us had the energy by the time Paul got home, so we didn't do those things.
Saturday we both woke up motivated to get the chores done before conference. I felt like we had so much time since it didn't start until 11:00 AM. So we did laundry in the morning and Paul cleaned the cars then came in and helped me finish cleaning the apartment. In between sessions we got our groceries.
Sunday morning I made pumpkin waffles. Paul liked them but felt that the pumpkin stuff was getting old. We joined the Christensen zoom call that night and Paul got on to say bye to Ben before he flies to Portland, OR this week, then he left to call his grandma.
